Rishikesh, Mar 12 (PTI) A 50-year-old man was trampled to death by an elephant here, forest officials said today.

The body of Sukumar, missing since yesterday from Mayakund area in Rishikesh, was found in Biwiwala forest area this morning, they said.

It seems the man had gone to the forest to collect wood when the incident happened, the officials said.
